I'd have to also note that I think many HdM, Fonseca, QdO, SLR and JL--among others--have moved out of the "mild" category and into the medium category in recent years.

Fonseca was mild but flavorful for my tastes several years ago, haven't tried the recent ones, but judging by HDM latest performance I think you are correct, there is a tendency of producing more powerful CCs lately. SLR Regios 2008 box was mild and bland (Macanudo was like PSD4 compared to those), couldn't stand those and gave them out to "once in a blue moon smoking" friends. Ordered a sampler of 2016 release, hopefully it's changed for the best.

When I said mild(actually mild-medium), I meant strength, definitely not flavor! Siglo VI is one of the most flavorful sticks I've ever smoked, although my stash is running thin, I have only 3 sticks left from a 10 year old box. Compared to similar age CoRo, yes, Siglo is milder to me. Maybe current Siglo production is more robust, that's why I ordered Siglo II from recent 24:24 in the name of science :D I usually prefer Trinidad, since I find their profiles VERY similar but cheaper

less expensive than Cohiba.

I love science.......that being said, I always found them more medium in strength, IMHO. Especially the Siglo IV which is one of my preferred smokes. Sorry to hear about the diminishing stash though, try the Connie A. Rob actually posted a thread about it recently. Might be a good substitute for you.

Thanks 007, I was thinking about getting Connie A at some point.

The RJR is perfect for tonight's festivities- Donald as Romeo and Hillary as Juliette. Needless to say, however, that romantic union is not likely to ever be consummated. But the thought of it is truly fascinating, if not terrifying...
