jmg Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Don't have many SLRs and no trinis. Only singles of Regios and As on hand. Smoked a regios about a month ago so for this review I'm smoking the A. Wrote the factory code on the band but the last letter is indecipherable. Anyway, first puff hits me with some tart fruit like flavors, kind of like an unripe peach. Very light cream comes in after the 2nd puff and for the rest of the 1st, they begin alternating. Going into the 2nd, i start getting a nice medium toasted tobacco thats just rich and smooth. I start getting light wood notes and the tartness flows in and out as well. In the third, i get a hit of milk chocolate and espresso, with the toasted tobacco throughout in the background. I had to put the cigar down a lot earlier than I would have liked because the household boss needed something but WOW, this was an interesting cigar. Loved how the flavors were going back and forth and interplaying with each other. I think I read that SLR A are hard to come by these days and thats a huge shame as I would definitely be in the market to buy a box or two. 1

I can only imagine as they get some age how good they will be. 1
