Blind Tasting Mystery Stick #3

Yep, it's that time...Mystery Stick #3.  Had a perfect fall day for this blind tasting, mid-high 50'sF for a temp, light breeze, and colors still nearly at their peak.  Today's smoke is a departure from the previous two in that it is a robusto and not a pyramid.  My prowess as a cigar taster extraordinaire, is evidently lost on the cigars as I'm 0-2 with my guesses, oh the shame!   Today's victim is a lightly colored stick with good construction and an excellent draw, but really, what I care about most is the flavors.  So what about those flavors you ask? or not, I'll tell ya anyway...FLORAL, yep, the entire first third of this stick was all floral with some spice through the snoz.  Not bad.  So, after the first third, the floral core started to subside a bit and coffee marched right on in.  Not a strong coffee, but a weak coffee with cream.  Better.  Now at the halfway point, the floral core was completely replaced by the coffee.  As the coffee intensified, we can add a cake like flavor.  Genius that I am, I can't quite nail the cake flavor down, so we'll just leave it at that.  Not overly complex, the smoke pretty much finished with just the coffee and cake, a damn nice combination.  So what's my verdict this time?  Throwing caution to the wind, I surmise with authority that it is a CORO...Ummm, or possibly a RyJ Short Churchill.  And if you guessed either of these, you'd be, like me...utterly, absurdly, WRONG!!!  Dammit!  x 3.  Maybe next time.  Today's goodness, was in actuality...a PSD4, go figure.
