One of my boyhood and adult heroes.  Truly a gentleman, pioneer and diplomat of the sport.  Just a cool guy to watch and listen, and learn from.  He will be missed, but his impact on the game is unquestionable.  A great pic of him and Ben Hogan waiting on the tee box.  I will smoke and raise a glass in his honor tonight!

I got the honor to briefly chat with him a few years ago at the senior PGA tour event in the twin cities.  Hell of a guy and a great ambassador to the sport.  He will be missed.

Between Arnold Palmer, and the horrible news about Jose Fernandez, yesterday was a very sad day for American athletics.

Grew up watching him play.  Got to watch him in person many times and meet him many times as well. A gentleman for sure.  RIP.

It happens to all of us at one time or another, yet somehow I just never expect it to happen to good men like Arnold. R. I. P. Mr. Palmer. We'll miss you.
