What ever happened to the Dr. Joe Cigar Show?

There was another thread on here somewhere about it. I think he may have made some people in the industry upset(?) I also read on another forum that he was, or is selling all of his collection off. I could be completely wrong though. 

A little web search shows his real name and then a little more searching reveals the area he lives and his works. Not cigar related at all. Maybe he just fell on bad times.

He was told he could never smoke again due to health concerns and was selling off his inventory. This was per the discussion under his last you tube video. One of the viewers emailed joe and this is what Joe messaged him back. It would of been nice if Dr. Joe was able to deliver a farewell message but guess that's not going to happen. I really enjoyed his videos and learned a lot from him when I got into Cubans.

Yeah, he had some sinus issues he was battling, and I know he had been to the hospital several times for it. 

 

I think the last time they basically said look, hang it up or this stuff will get to your brain.... Nothing to mess with, dont blame him. 

 

Miss his show for sure, was worried he had died for a while there.

I only watched a few but enjoyed them. I'm east coast in NJ and he personified the northeast in my opinion

Yes, very unfortunate. I really liked his show and was not politically correct at all.  His history segments in each show about the cigars were great!
