Hello everyone,

My name is Jim and I wanted to introduce myself as I start to delve into the forum / CC's. I have had a few cuban cigars over the years when in Mexico / Canada for vacations with my family (my dad is relatively into cigars).

Two months ago, I began a six month stint in London for work and have really gotten interested in CCs. I went into a few of the stores here and picked up a variety of singles to try and figure out what I enjoyed. I just purchased a box of HDM Epi #2's from the 24:72 and look forward to building my collection over time. I have always gravitated towards medium bodied NC's and find that my palette is relatively similar thus far with CC's. 

I look forward to getting to know all of you over the coming months. Please feel free to reach out with any suggestions on places to check out in London / Europe for buying / smoking cigars.

Welcome aboard Jim!  Love London, hate their tobacco prices.  It is fun to walk around some of the storied cigar shops there and look though.

Thanks everyone! When I got here a few months ago I went around to the shops and bought various singles to start to sample. While I was really impressed with the knowledge of staff and the history (particularly at JJ Fox),

I inevitably spent wayyy more than I needed to. That being said, I'm kinda chalking it up to the "experience". I guess the silver lining is at least I can buy them at a B&M here unlike when I get back to Chicago.
