HDM Epicure Especial NOV TOS15: HDM Review Comp 2016

Following an afternoon of gardening, time to relax with a smoke and beer.

Decided on a HDM that I have yet to try, the Epicure Especial NOV TOS15 - pairing it with a James Squire APA

Firm construction,  wrapper has some watermarks which don't bother me.

Prelight - good draw, slight resistance - light hay flavour

1/3 Mild start, getting a subtle flavour of musk, sweetness

2/3 Clean burn with good volume of smoke, musk flavour gone, getting cream and mild spice on the pallette

3/3 Slight uneven burn, nothing that a little touch won't fix.  Spice gone, now getting more of a nut profile

Overall pleasant 1hr40, mild to medium smoke, with a very subtle flavour profile - typical HDM  

Must say, out of the HDM marca that I've tried, the Du Prince is sill my favourite with a more distinctive flavour !!
