Hello FoH!

Just wanted to introduce myself to the great community. I've been lurking for a couple weeks and soaking up the great knowledge on this forum.

For the last 15 years or so I have enjoyed NCs off and on. My collection has occasionally grown to 4-5 boxes, however, the last 5 years or so it has slowly burned up to nothing.

All that changed with a recent visit to Grand Cayman and the acquisition of a box of Monte #2 and Party #4. I'm hooked.

Looking forward to spending time and likely lots of $$$ here.

Best, Tex

Great to have you!

Ether,

Great tips in your Noob post! Thanks for taking the time to write it up.

I recently purchased a box of Monte No. 2 (a favorite when it's on) and a box of Mag 46 (never tried it) from our host. And I'm attempting to keep a tight grip on my CC until these arrive.

I'm still discovering the different marcas... Would you recommend continuing to pick up great boxes or broadening my horizons with a sampler?

I'm thinking samplers...

By all means samplers. They are the best way to begin to understand what you like. Remember to take great notes while smoking slowly which will help a bunch with identifying the tasting notes that resound with you.
