Ethernut Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Gonna make this one quick and dirty. I brought one of these with me to Florida to see what I thought about it as I recently purchased a couple boxes. I must admit they are very complex and have a ton of promise. Very excited to see how these age. 1st third, Burnt toast, cream. Light-Medium (baffled by this), chocolate hints, whiskey borkum riff, sweet rose on the inhale. I'm happy as a pig in slop.2nd third, Light-medium, still creme diluted in strong coffee, floral scented burnt paraffin wax, chargrilled steak, honey notes, burnt to a crisp toast, freakishly fleeting weird scent of gasoline, oily mouth coat, chlorine, slight pepper, sour dough bread, mongrel (as rob calls it), find out the light-medium was due to the wrapper not sealing properly, found the leak and now medium-full. Mongrel turns to acrid and that's where I'm out. The first two thirds of this cigar is already more interesting than most. Again I'm happy to see so much promise in this cigar. Gonna give it some time before I revisit. Ether.. 4

Drguano Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Thanks for the notes. From the three reviews I've read, it sounds like these need some time to develop. I'm going to let my box rest for a while.
