Bolivar Petit Coronas are one of my favorite and most smoked cigars. Tons of flavor in a small package that delivers a leathery, earthy kick every time. A box of these will always be in my collection, and I would love a 50 cab if they were available.

Dark, oily wrapper with a good draw.

Start 6:53pm

1st third: Earthy, leather profile with a touch of cream. No slow start or buildup, just kicks from the very start. Little bit of cocoa when I smoke slow enough, which I love in these when it comes through. Perfect construction and burn so far.

2nd third: All earth and leather, though definitely smoother than they were even 6 months ago. Not a bad change though. Cocoa has stuck around into the middle of the cigar which is lovely.

Final third: Mongrel is out in full force at the end. Coffee/espresso joins the leather and earth for a powerful finish. These still have plenty of kick to them.

End 8:13pm

Bolivar Petit Coronas have been a staple of mine since I finish starting smoking CC’s. They’ve always been my choice when I’m looking for a full-bodied cigar to go with scotch or bourbon. Poured some bourbon halfway through this and the two went perfectly together.
