I was in Dublin back in 2000. Only spent 2 days there before heading out on a self drive vacation. I bought some sticks in a shop. I looked online for a bit and Decent cigar emporium looks like it might have been the place.

I was in Dublin a few years ago on business... and was not versed in the ways of Cuban cigars at the time.  Alas!  On the list for my next trip.

Hopefully you got a chance to have a chat with Yiorgos - he's a legend!

Yiorgos is indeed a top tier bloke :ok:

Great stores have great staff/teams. They make everyone feel welcome.

Will be there in Sept/Oct sometime.  My inquiry in Global Locations thread went unanswered.  ;)

If putting together a top 3 Dublin B&M list, would the 2 listed in this post be tops on that list?  Any others?

Thanks!

There are only three stores in the country you can purchase cigars from. Petersons (the pipe maker) sells cigars, James Fox, and Cigar Emporium are your only options. They are all within 5 mins walk of each other. All worth visiting.

Not only is James Fox an excellent source of cigars, they keep a remarkable variety of whskies! Say hi for me.
