RickHendeson Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Figured I've give these a shot to see how they're progressing. Not stellar. The Trini core is there, which for me, has always been more a tea than a grass. But it's still dirty. Hope they clear up in time.
JohnS Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Oh what a shame! I have the same box code. For me, Trinidad packs lots of flavour and the best that I've had has been kept dry (at 62 rh) and smoked slowly to prevent overheating, bitterness and acridity.

I agree, I've had quite a few great Trinnies lately... it's becoming one of my favorite marcas. 1
Orion21 Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 I stick to the Reyes. The Coloniales are a frustrating cigar. I'd much rather spend less coin on some QdO Corona if I'm going to let a box like this sleep for 5 years.
eswary Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 After smoking(and loving) a bunch of Reyes. Mostly 2012-2014. I decided to order up some Colonials last week. My hopes are the same profile(chocolate/vanilla/coffee or coffee bean) and just a larger smoke. Guess I'll find out and report back gents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
