HarveyBoulevard Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Saw a news piece on this last night. This is one thing I bet they get worked out quick http://www.foodandwine.com/blogs/cubas-running-out-beer
oliverdst Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 This could explain why I cant get Bucanero in Brazil anymore.
SofaKing Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 I couldn't imagine living with a beer shortage! 1
brschoppe Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Couldn't they just mix it in St. Louis and float it down the Mississippi and then on to Havana in barrels as Agriculture material. The interesting thing about this is that In-Bev is a foreign controlled company and should be able to transfer assets from one country to another.. Could they just relocate agriculture products under the easing of restrictions. When does something go from being an agriculture product to raw material? 1
Blazer Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Story on the news this morning that the cost of hops are going through the roof due to the demand for craft beers. Prices for your favorite quaff could increase by up to 50% in the next few months.
Mattygukas Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 Perhaps there is a correlation to the reduction in beer and the reduction in cigar production?
