Garry Shandling, RIP

Oh my goodness, what a shock. It just goes to show you never know when. I loved his early Showtime series, "The Garry Shandling Show" with Randy Newman singing the opening credits. It was light, gentle, and easy to watch. Very pleasant, nice show about him, his best friend and family, etc. I'll always remember that episode where he babysat his friend's son and with all those paranoa fears of, "Am I gonna be responsible for him losing an eye!?" etc. That episode was a scream!!! A very heartfelt loss to the entertainment industry. RIP, Garry. I know you're up there with the other gentle greats of yesteryear
