This is my first cigar review on FOH. (so take it easy on me... LOL) I definitely don't have the most refined palate but here we go....

It's a beautiful day here in Phoenix so I went to the humidor looking for the cigar to match the day. I grabbed a cigar from a sampler I recently received . I had never smoked a Saint Luis Rey before today.

I paired this cigar with a glass of 21 year Tomatin.

1/3 Started with a good draw and tastes of nuts (specifically almonds) earth and leather. Very pleasant smooth and tasty.

2/3 Had some burn issues had to touch up. Started getting some spice. At the same time this cigar went sweet. Something between Caramel, milk chocolate and brown sugar. A great flavor sensation.

3/3 Burn Issues are gone. The cigar becomes much stronger and the spice is coming on strong. The sweetness is replaced with a leather - strong coffee flavor.

All in all a truly enjoyable smoke today!

Nice review! I've been really enjoying the box of these I got from our host. The fruity flavor that I get from these is refreshing, especially since its something that I never got from NCs.

nice review. Hey, you're my neighbor! I'm in Prescott.

Good to Know! We will have to get together for a smoke one of these days.

Nice review

I burned through my last box of regios quite quickly and have been wanting to replace them. But they always get just missed when it comes checkout time.

I enjoy that sweet and fruity profile that they have.
