El Presidente Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 This has been dragging on for some time. I sincerely hope they cut them some slack. It is nice to see a tobacco business getting political and media support. It would never happen in this country. http://www.tbo.com/list/news-opinion-editorials/editorial-cigar-factory-in-federal-limbo-20151102/
BuckeyeSmoker Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Are cigar sales to minors really an issue? And if so is the answer to shut down the production factories? It's not as if cigars will stop being sold in Tampa if all local factories are closed.
perkinke Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 It's back or prohibition. The anti-smoking zealots know they couldn't pass or sustain an outright ban on tobacco so they do it obliquely through regulation and taxes. If this was really about minors purchasing tobacco products then the focus would be on enforcement with regards to retail establishments.
Charltonc Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 This company does so much in the community it is ridiculous. They are always helping veterans. Sad day as I go to Ybor city monthly.
