Well, if you live in a temperate climate with manageable temperature ie 20c in your house or basement, a converted wine chiller (unpowered) will make a great humidor with the custom shelves and all.

It's the complications of a powered up wine chiller, that's the issue right there. A lot of thought goes into getting the 'perfect' climate for your stogies.

RH and temperature are interactive. Rough math... Going from 24C at 65% to 18C would increase the RH in your cigars by +20%. They're probably way too wet and need a bunch of time to settle.
