Kruz Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Hello, I am travelling to Amsterdam again in three weeks and I was wondering if anyone had any recent regional benelux recommendations. I like to pick up regionals whenever I travel to remind me of the trips. Much appreciated!
egoo33 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 i have only had the bolivar fabulosos and it was great
ebhead Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I've had the Bolivar Poderoso, 2013. Although a Belux RE, not Benelux, you might find it in Amsterdam and it's a great cigar, a bit pricey though (I think it was 32 euro per stick, or something). And if you can get your hands on the Punch Royal RE (2009) jump on it. Smooth, creamy, nutty cigar. E 2
Frankinho007 Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I really liked the Ramon Allones Specially Selected Robusto Corto (RE 2013), a Petit Robusto and still easily available. If you are into Fonseca you can try the Fonseca No. 4 - a Hermosos No. 4 and a RE for Benelux from 2010 which is available at the LCDH in Amsterdam according to their homepage.
joeboxer Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 I also enjoy the RA Robusto Corto very much. My only complaint is that everytime I have smoked one I ended up wishing it was longer!
kittipong Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 You should visit LCDH Amsterdam and ask Didi, he is great guy, he might recommend you great Benelux cigars. I really like RA Robusto Corto 2013, he has them plenty, Didi always have vintage cigar in his shop.
