Smoking In public

I've been kicked out of multiple smoking sections in Germany over the years. Turns out they meant cigarettes only

I was just given the business by some slag at the train station in Duesseldorf City train station over smoking a cigar in the smoking section of the platform. I tried to ignore her whooping couch impression, but finally (remembering atlharp's sage advice, told her that her cough sounded bad, and that she should really consider quitting smoking. Needless to say, I finished my HUHC in the smoking section and she shuffled off, ultimately getting approached by station security for smoking outside the smoking area.

Enjoy your life, don't sweat the rest of them. I'm sure the 99% that think cigar smoke is disgusting have had something even dirtier in their mouths.

I don't buck the rules and I only smoke in "smoking sections" or in public where it is allowed. That being said I will be respectful and try and stay a distance from people, but at the end of the day I have a right to enjoy my life as do they. I have not and will not ever throw out a cigar I have started to smoke because some A**hat decides to throw a fit. I can't stand the smell of cigarettes and therefore I try not to sit around them, but I won't make stupid faces or fake coughing noises to passively aggressively get my feelings across. All things being equal I do enjoy the relaxation of just smoking on my deck in my yard because I don't have to deal with people at all, then again I don't like dealing with people even when I'm not smoking so perhaps I'm biased.

Oh, I love to piss people off. I was at a friends backyard party last night and I walked in with my Parti 4 lit.

I grabbed a beer the next thing I know all my friends sparked up. They all had them but they waiting for me to show up and start puffing. I really don't give a rats ass if people are disturbed. My host knows I like cigars. If he didn't want cigars at the party he would either not invite me or give me a heads up not to smoke before the party.

Btw I brought some cigars in case anyone else wanted to smoke. They were gone in 10 minutes.

As for people pulling their shirts over their faces, I would just put a smile on my face and possibly blow a smoke ring at them..... No I wouldn't . But I would be thinking it.
