Gold Coast meeting?

Hello fellow cigar friends

I Live on the Gold Coast and I've read about many herfs taking place in the Brisbane area - Are there many members on the Gold Coast and what are the chances of planning a herf on the Coast?

I love cigars but don't have many friends that share my passion - REALLY want to have a good session, have a few smokes, good conversation and maybe one too many drinks

No problems at all mate.

We don't have many members on the Gold Coast and smoking locations are damn rare unless you can come up with one. I head down to see my mum and dad at least once a fortnight (they live at Mermaid Beach). Happy to try and tee something up with you but PM me direct.

ok cool - Well there may be an new smoking location on the GC very soon

My family owns Howl At The Moon - we just closed down Broadbeach and our new venue opens 19th August - It's next to the old Temple - Cavil Ave on the water at Tiki Village

We're thinking of having a cigar friendly smoking area

Sounds good about catching up, I'll shoot a PM when I can have a look at my free time

I was only up in Broadbeach in April catching up with mates and it was pretty abysmal in terms of smoking restrictions.

My mates and i ended up back at the hotel room balcony and it was still a great night of laughter and cigars.

A cigar friendly location, post that in the cigar friendly section when its up and running, i'm sure plenty of guys find themselves in GC for one reason or another and would appreciate it.

Pretty sure smoking on all hotel balconies in Broadbeach and Surfers is illegal too?

I live on the Gold Coast and it's hard to find anywhere good to enjoy a cigar though I do get some nice frowns in my local pubs DOSA.

Through lack of effort I usually contain my cigars to the golf course, my one mate who enjoys cigars house and my own house, so I'd be keen to get together as well!

i don't condone such actions... but if i did i'd keep the lights off on the balcony and dispose of any garbage myself to help out the over worked cleaning staff.
