ChanceSchmerr Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Just a thought....today i tried my first JL No. 4 RE in a little while. Thought these were tasty but still kind of harsh when they came out (unlike the JL No. 5 RE Andorra that was perfectly balanced right out of the gate). Today's cigar was similar to the OR profile - some nice JL flavour and richness but still harsh and bitter. I put mine out with a third to go and lit up a delicious Punch Tres Petit Corona instead. I'm curious, is it just me or does anyone else have this experience with these particular REs? I suspect they will be fine but need much more aging (7-10 yrs ) before they hit their stride. What say you, folks?
