Ethernut Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Looking through your pics, the place looks really fun! Like a country club for miners. I've stayed in much worse places! Also looks like a fantastic place to smoke a bunch of CC's! 1
Danimalia Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 The work sounds hard as hell, but at least the living conditions seem nice. I cracked up at the thought of monkeys in the house if the doors are left open. That's just so far from my frame of reference living here in the states.

Heh, I was just thinking about how it reminded me of a place I stayed at in Guatemala for a few days back in '05. 1

I'm taking it upon myself to fly the thing. So ive been flying it and learning how to do different things with it etc. This is one of the holes on our golf course. Manual flight, so pretty shit. I'm going to to be plotting a waypoint course and doing some low altitude passes to get some good shots of the whole course. This video is super low res. this file was compressed from 600mb down to 4mb so i could easily send it though watsapp etc. My job is so hard IMG_7971.mp4 Great to see senior management leading from the front
LordAnubis Posted August 3, 2016 Author Posted August 3, 2016 For the record we will use this drone to take routine footage of a mapped flight over the pit, tailings dam, perimeter fence, stockpiles and rehab areas. We also use it to get promotional footage of the process plant and camp etc. I think they play some of this footage in the lobby of the head office in Perth. I am doing this because of my experience flying RC Helicopters and planes. So pres!
