I handpicked these and they represent high end PE/HQ. $235 USD $390 AUD A little like Behike in that I have to work hard to pick great boxes of these. It shouldn't be so but it is. The construction in these is spot on but what stands out is that the wrappers are a big step up on what is normally dished out. I try to avoid the lighter paper bark wrappers wherever possible. I have been on a Dip 2 run of late smoking 2-3 a week as they are smoking very well and this batch is a touch fuller than normal. I probably smoke more of it's larger brother the Montecristo Especial but they both share the same DNA. Class, mocha + plus a touch of cream. Generally they are "Good" but "Great" are head to find and in Choix Supreme I find it makes a big difference. There are a lot of yellow "ish" wrappers in Choix Supreme that can lend a grassy young taste. Put on a beautiful Colorado or Rosado wrapper and they are transformed with a rich flavour in a just under medium bodied format. I have generally found the Choix Supreme to be well constructed. Following on from my comments on the Bolivar corona Junior, this is actually a cigar that I prefer in a high quality Colorado wrapper. It lends itself to the blend.
