Monte 2 bands

Buddy of mine received a box from a bonafide online vendor (not our host). The box code is September 13 but it's sporting the last generation band that doesn't have the gold embossing.

According to cubancigarwebsite.com this band went out of date in 2012. What are other folks seeing on their Monte 2s?

I noticed a review of the petit 2 and it had the gold.

Many 13's have the old band... Cuba doesn't simply throw out bands, they go through them until they are gone before using the new ones.

Early 2014 monte 2's have still had the old band in my experience

There have been many petit no.2 in old style bands even. I haven't seen and DE's with old clothes yet, but in sure they're out there somewhere
