Don't have to be PC. I really liked the BPCs I have smoked and wanted to see what other sticks guys that like BPCs enjoy.

Not necessarily the same flavor profile.

I enjoy BPC's quite often. I do like Partagas shorts as much. (Or a little bit more) Monte 4,5 also in my rotation, and RASCC and boli corona junior. Just to name a few from the smaller ones.

Mag46,psd4,upmann coni1,rass, punch punch to name few bigger brothers too.

Partagas lusitanias, punch dc, cohiba lancero... And literally so many others

I think the cream takes some time though doesn't it? I get pure red pepper and earth early. But maybe that's just me.

I have never tasted anything remotely close to cream from a party short. I mostly get pepper/spice as well.

It seems I get two kinds of Party shorts - most of the time, there is a sour/sweet cream over the Partagas earth/vegetative/spice. Less of the time, I get a simple, straightforward Party with earth, spice, and some wood.

I have as of yet to age Party Shorts appreciably - they're usually gone within a year or two of the box code.

Taste is just subjective, I guess - our palates are much different from each other irrespective of "cultivating"

How do the BPCs compare to BCJs?

In my opinion they're quite similar in general flavour profiles though different blends. Both of them are true Bolivar with rich and deep earthiness, spice (pepper), leather and creamy sweetness.

Bcj might be more edgy and concentrated while more balance found in bpc. Bpc slightly more peppery, bcj more creamy while I believe somehow stronger.
