cobra Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 I am finding it more and more difficult to indulge myself on my quest to gather and secure all the cigars I can get my greedy hands on. I have always been able to satisfy my collector instincts (non-cigar) with the premise to my better half "its an investment", after all it does go up in smoke! Its hard to show a non-cigar smoker (read woman) the joy and relaxation a Cuban can bring, but she indulges me to a limit, but she's on to me. Now to the point. Rob if you could swing changing the charge on my credit card to read payable to the Worldwide Disaster Fund or perhaps Northwest Mutual Life Insurance I would really appreciate it. Lets call it STEALTH. Just a thought...........

When she reads that and gets all hot and bothered, just tell her it's a for a special occasion for later in the year. Maybe she'll forget by then.
Freefallguy Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Cobra, I'm thinking you should have Rob post your cigar expenses to "Lovely Ladies of Vegas"... now that, THAT will surely get her mind off the cigars!
Mel Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Heads up guys here is a hot stealth tip. Use someone elses' credit card and agree to pay them cash. My office manager has offered the use of her MC for my overseas purchases. I then just give her the cash. Another but more expensive method is to use a wire transfer. Go to your bank and pay the transfer with cash. I originally tried to send cash direct to Rob but the stork kept going off course. Now it's not like the wife does not know that I buy cigars but I just hate to hear her going on. Since buying the Cadilac she has toned it down considerable.
Loki Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 Maybe Rob can let us use our Debit cards someday. Money will come right out of the checking account, no statement. It should be just like cash. Tell the wife that when a purchase is made Rob donates a portion which helps feed starving, orphaned, handicapped Cuban children. :-(

Loki Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Cool . Never had to use my debit card. I GOT BALLS.
Ken Gargett Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 this entire posting is the most pathetic thing i have ever read. rob would never cave in to his wife (trips to islands notwithstanding).
El Presidente Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 Very hard here to start a charity although "Save the Czar Children Fund" has a certain ring to it. How about a business in either of the following names with purchase receipts showing: International Better Husband College Spouse Christmas Saving Account Marriage Councelling Online :-D
