Early end to Bathurst Motor Festival (crash)

Working on "modern" sports cars (90s) which is a lil different to what i usually do.

The week was quite a relaxing one until Sunday afternoon when this happened.
The red rx7 ran out of talent and demolishes the rear right corner of the car in excess of 200km/h

The car is a Porsche 993 RS Club Sport, only 47 of these ever made in RHD.

gonna have some work cut out for me in the coming months.

Glad you're okay - quite the shunt, that's a fast downhill. As someone who follows a lot of grassroots racing, it seems some of these guys are getting dumber by the day out there.

That guy drove like a rookie... never heard "when you spin, both feet in" nor let the steering wheel go when it was unrecoverable - could have broken both his wrists. You learn that stuff in the first track day pre-session Who let this guy on the track?
