Welcome Ian.

Barcelona and Cuban cigars go well together for me as this was the first city I really got into them while working there.

I had an apartment overlooking the beach in Barcelonetta and I would sit on my windowsill overlooking the sand & cuban cigars like Cubancigarbest, trying as many smokes as I could take each day.

Was in heaven.

Hey Ian, not to threadjack or bump an old post, but I'm headed to Barcelona for a long wknd soon, first trip to Spain, and I'm really looking forward to a few days of delicious smokes on the beach. Any insider tips about good shops to pick up some sticks from? Or, alternatively, any to avoid?

Hey, I apologize for the very late reply on this mate. Was travelling like a demon workwise. Not sure if you have come and gone or still pending your trip to BCN. I recommend:

Casa Fuster - Rambla Catalunya

Gimeno (Las Ramblas) - Bigger Selection

Spanish government sets cigar prices so no worries about being ripped of.

Found some good smokes downstairs at Gimenos on Las Ramblas a few years back.

Glad to see you again Ian!
