Laxman
Used to be a huge hockey fan but whenever there was that strike and for a few years the games were not on prime tv or on at all, I stopped following it. Watched a few Cup games the few years but need to get back into it.
ptrthgr8
Hey don't hate on me just because my team beat both the Bruins and the Redwings in the same week, it's not my fault if the Habs are just better Better? Hmm. So, yeah... since you're a good little Habs fan I assume you've already sent gift baskets to the refs. They've certainly been helping your boys, so I'm sure they'll appreciate that. Wow, imagine if they weren't sending gift baskets
ptrthgr8
It's not about the sheer number of penalties. It's about the timing of penalties and the timing of no-calls. Every team gets some breaks throughout the season, but the Habs have been the beneficiaries of some pretty amazing calls/no-calls, especially in the last couple of weeks. And, hey, don't get me wrong. I like Montreal. They're probably my 3rd favorite team in the league. Any Original Six team is okay in my book. But I'll still call a spade a spade when I see one.
