PaulP Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 If this had been directed by a lesser known and not the Martin Scorsese, it would have bombed.
Guest rob Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Not as entertaining as the equally (if not more) debauched Buccaneer of Burke Street....... HAHAHAHahahhhaaaaaaa ...but it's Creek Street, not Burke Street.
Fosgate Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Having spent a few years in sales and securities here in the USA I thought it was pretty close to some of the stuff I saw and people I met at the time. You were lucky if you didn't have a prominent Human Resources department. I miss those days. Now you have to walk on glass as not to offend anyone. Loved the movie and miss those days when you could say or do whatever you want so long as you delivered results.
Spartan Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I thought it was a great flick, I can't believe the level of debauchery that went on but I happen to know a couple of people who worked for Belfort and they say the movie was pretty accurate.
