Liguria Region (better know as Genona or Genova)

Hello mates just wanted to see if there was anybody out there who has gone to Liguria (Genoa) Italy there for any length of time recently.

This area is from about Menton (France) - Ventimiglia (Italy) to Genoa Italy and east to about Pisa.

I'm only interested Genona really because I will be running from Menton France on small day

trips to Genoa. What I want to know is has anyone ever bought smokes (cigars) from Genoa

and if so where. I know where to find smokes in Menton France, French RE's and reg. production

cubans but will be at a loss at finding smokes while in Genoa. Also, mainly while in Italy

I will be looking for Italian RE's like the La Escepcion Selecto finos (2011), Punch Super fino (2005)

and maybe Por Larranaga - Legendarios 2012 Petit Robusto. Any help in this matter would

be helping a fellow FOH who will be having a tug of war with a wife who is interested in markets, shopping, and just about what any women would want to do while on the French - Italian Rivera.

First of all, enjoy your trip! Is this your first time in that area?

I met the owner of a cigar shop in Genoa while I was in Cuba last year. A father and son run the place and they were really nice people. I have his business card somewhere... let me try and dig it up tomorrow. I'm not sure how big of a place or selection they have, but they are at least knowledgeable enough to go to Havana every year and I did talk about cigars at length with them and they did talk about having the RE's.
