Dimewylde Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 hi, and greetings from Norway! i was just wondering about a few things, like what do "LWI" in "H.Upmann Magnum 46 - LWI MAY 05" describe/mean? and when the code box says, forexample jun13, dose that mean that the tobacco plant was harvested in "jun13". or maby rolled in jun? or mabye shipped? thanks:)
rckymtn22 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 The JUN 13 mean that the cigars were boxed in June 2013. The LWI is a factory code, not sure which one. Tons of info here... http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/index.htm

Dimewylde Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 JUN 13 means they were boxed in June 2013, most likely rolled in June as well (Possible they were rolled at the end of May). First 3 letters are the factory they were rolled in. nice, thanks!
Dimewylde Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 ok, but how do you know when the tobacco is harvested?
rckymtn22 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Have a look at the link as there is tons of great information there. Anywhere from 1 to 5 years. Here is a direct link... http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/info-production.htm#Hand_Rolled_Cigars
