rook
I stumbled across this interesting article this morning while doing some research. http://www.renewableenergyworld.com/rea/news/article/2013/07/are-beer-and-cigarettes-the-new-bioenergy I found it quite interesting that they would be able to fit 200,000 tobacco plants per acre rather than the current 7,000 plants per acre if they wanted to. Would this entice farmers to make the switch and what kind of effects do you think this would have on the prices of your favorite tobacco products? mazolaman
Interesting read, thanks. I've made Biodiesel for years..never thought of tobacco..but I guess a GM algae cross breed..who knows? Maybe it would stop the rainforrests of Indonesia being levelled for palm oil.
