Removing wine cooler drawer stoppers?

My drawers from Forrest should be coming in next week. But what I am wondering is how do I remove the drawer stoppers at the end of each slot? Do I just use a screw driver and break them off or is there a way to remove them without snapping them off?

My wine cooler is a VinoTemp 28. Here is a picture of what they look like.

Any ideas?

I cut them off with a wire snip... mine were plastic.

I used a wood chisel & hammer. Worked fine. Any plastic left, use the chisel to cut the excess.
