Profmd Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Hi all I have a 15 cuFT cigar cabinet which I would say is 1/4 full. Living in Toronto the humidity and temperature is usually fairly high in the summer. Tough this year because I had to move back home with the folks who HATE having the air on. Anyone have ideas about lowering temperature in the cabinet for me?? Don't really want to buy a wine cooler to store the cigars in, but may have to. Not sure where to look either. Just need to drop from about 74-75 down to 65-70, would be great. Thanks
Patric M Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Try adding some fans.... Maybe see if you can find a cooler place for it, like the basement or furnace room. I'm in Thornhill and have my ac on all the time. I keep my cab in the basement where with cooler around 19ish, but the humidity its at 70% with out my hydra even on.
Profmd Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 Ya it is in the basement. Humidity is a bit of a problem so running dehumidifier which just adds to the heat. Humidity is about 68 so not bad in the humidor. Have lots of crystals to keep it at that number.
