kuma
If the cigar tastes good right from the git go (start) then I'm all for it. Working double shifts, w/overtime 6 days a week rain or shine does not leave much for family/self to be able to smoke a churchill/double corona or even a "long skinny" these days. Sundays are my only full day off and that can go down the drain quickly (emergency call out) if the weather turns ugly. Snapped comm. cables and broken utility poles makes for a busy day/night. So seeing shorter smokes with gauges of 46-54 is fine as long as the smokes get right into it "taste+flavor" as Rob would say.

A perla or minuto can be very flavorful and for me make more sense proportionally / size-wise. I guess I don't really understand a wide, short cigar - they really remind me of a plug of chewing tobacco. End of the day, I guess it doesn't really matter, as long as the cigars are consistently well made and properly blended.
kuma
True to perlas and petit coronas and also coronas!
Colt45
True to perlas and petit coronas and also coronas! The corona may just be the all around perfectly sized cigar Personally, I don't really consider coronas or even PCs "quick" smokes. Given the parameters you've described, I think it would be hard to go wrong with the Bolivar coronas junior, Partagas short, or Montecristo No.5. Again, if the new Partagas works all around, I guess it would be hard to argue against...... I might just go have a RASCC....
