Ophidion Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I have a friend who is working in Stockholm for the next few months and he was looking for some smoke shops and recommendations on regional releases? Many thanks.
Hamlon Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 As far as regional edition goes, we've only had one. In 2009 I believe. Punch northern lights. A petit robusto that has been frowned upon for some time alltough I've recently heard that it's starting to deliver. I've only had two of them. Kinda great and the other one kinda meh. Prices are generally steep and the variety of cigars imported by our distributor, Habanos nordic, is not too bad but missing, if I'm not mistaken, a couple of marcas and some other great sticks. However, your buddy shouldn't have to go cigarless, as long as he's not working a low waged internship. As for cigar friendly locations in Stockholm, I'm sure one of the members in that area will PM you shortly if they haven't already.
Drapatrissor Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 My favourite shop is Framcigarr ( www.framcigarr.se) at Kungsgatan 55, really small shop but they have quite a good selection. I think their prices are a bit better than the other two shops i know about; Cigarrummet (http://cigarrummet.com/ ) at Stureplan and Brobergs ( www.brobergs.se ) in Sturegallerian.
Arnehaj Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 And If he looking for a plaese to smoke, contact Gordon @ http://www.cigarrfixaren.se Regards Jonny Skickat från min GT-I9505 via Tapatalk 2
mazolaman Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Just as a note here. If you are on the other side of Sweden, nearer to Malmo, please check out Martin at Kind cigars. He was very welcoming to us as we travelled round, and has a cool smoke room. I think he also does internet sales.
Maxismoke Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Second the opinion on Martin from Kind Cigars. Nicest guy and a true BOTL. www.kindcigars.com
