Not really sure what to expect out of the Punch Churchill since I've never had a CC Punch. I'm not sure if 2000 was a good year for these, but it's not often I'll pass up a 12 year old box of cigars.

Is the Punch profile similar to any others? There wasn't a huge tobacco smell at all, so I suspect they'll be lighter smokes, but not sure since I've never had one before.

I literally felt like I was a kid seeing the christmas tree on the morning 25th of Dec again. Took photos of the box, unwrapping the box, set up the boxes, opened them etc, Great stuff eh!

Received a 97 Punch Churchill from sampler this fall and it was one of the best cigars I have had. Recently been smoking a few Punch DC's from 99 that have been almost as good. Very nutty with subtle hints of spice, not pepper, earthy and they both finish stronger than they start. Smooth and enjoyable smoke.
