Diamondog Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Tonight i went and picked up my 4 year old boys Christmas wishes and was able to get my 6 year old daughters taken care of last week. I have been very pleased over the last couple/few years they have been cognicent about Christmas to be able to get them exactly what they asked Santa for. I do dread the first Christmas their wishes become unrealistic who knows maybe it wont happen they are pretty grounded and easy to please. My daughter asked for a "makeup apron" and in typical girl fashion, gems, jewels and diamonds lol. I asked her what a makeup apron was and she explained it to me, its something she made up in her head....girlfriend handling that one - check.....as for the gems, jewels and diamonds well the local craft store had a great selection, heres hoping she never gets them appraised! As for my son, well he wanted a rescue helicopter - check....he also wanted a drum roll ratat ratat ratat a drum set, OH LORD what have i done??? Now if i can just figure out what my girlfriend wants, but im guessing it'll be in some sort of blue box from Tiffanies, sigh.....lol How is your Christmas shopping coming?
Rushman Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Good for you mate. This time of year is truly for the kiddos. Wife and I don't have any kiddos and our relo to Mexico and resulting 90% drop in earnings has made us (very happily though) celebrate the last two seasons for what they are. A time of being thankful for what you have and who is in your life. Very low key for us and frankly we dig it. Seasons greetings and best to all my FOH family. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.630044,-87.069758

Cohiba Stevie Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I love christmas lol. I envy you diamondog... The scramble for presents beforehand must be worth it when they see the gifts on the day. Well done mate.
maverickdrinker Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Finished mine before leaving for Havana. We always make it a goal to have everything done by November to avoid the Christmas rush. Just put my feet up and watch the mayhem....

bigharpoon Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 My daughter wants a jewelry holder with a butterfly on top and a heart on bottom. I thought to myself 'sure, I can make that'. Oh boy...I've bitten off more than I can chew. That's a damn hard thing to make, lol.
