I've given up on Cuban coffee. By the time it arrives it is usually stale. I'll take freshly roasted whole bean Brazilian or Ethiopian over who knows how old Cuban. Coffee does not improve with age.

The only Cuban coffee I like is the Turquino for making espresso. It's pretty great but you can easily get coffee that is just as good from a local roaster.
