MIKA27 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 The Taiwanese Animation Version Of The John McAfee Story Things aren’t going well for John McAfee right now. He’s been hospitalized with an unconfirmed condition, and his request for asylum was turned down by Guatemala. But let’s take a moment to look back at the bizarre path we took to get here through the bizarre-is-what-we-do lens of the NMA, the Taiwanese animation studio. Two minutes full of illegal Trojan horse immigration, bikini models living in a bunk bed in a gun locker, and Vice writers taking bong hits are satisfying. But with how this story has been going, how much of this would really surprise you if you found out it was a spot-on accurate portrayal?
oliverchang514 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I'm taiwanese and that was so frigging ridiculous.. jeez.. Now everyone on the forum will think "Taiwanese sure know how to get animation right!" Then again.. I'm from the states..
CBL Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I'm half Taiwanese and lived there for a couple of years, so this madness doesn't surprise me at all. It's their way of keeping the viewers interested in stories they wouldn't usually care about. And although it looks like a Sims game gone wrong, it's still pretty funny
Warren Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I thought it was funny that his girlfriend seemed to have an incontinence problem.
