was referred here by a great smoker and avid cuban cigar enthusiast. spent most of the morning lurking, checking out the procedures and policies, and getting a feel for the community. looks like an outstanding place you all have, and hope to possibly contribute something to it.

my first real (read: not machine made junk) cigar was a bolivar RC in '94, when i was 17: it was a gift from my girlfriend's mother, classy lady to this day, and, while i am SURE it was wasted on me, it still lbrings a smile to this day. i have been enjoying cigars for 18 years, but truly passionate/ obsessive for the last decade-ish. in all honesty, most of my collection is noncuban, but i really cannot say i am conversant in cigars without exploring cubans. like following wine but not drinking french, right?

i am an (overly) active member on BOTL, with the same screen name, and try to positively contribute to that community. here, i will be mostly listening and soaking it in, as i have a long journey until i can really help. from what i have read so far on FoH, it should be enjoyable and informative.

smoke well! o)
