Where to buy Cuban cigas in La Paz, Mexico?

Does anyone know a reputable Cuban cigar merchant in La Paz, Mexico? A friend of mine will be visiting soon.

Any idea on pricing for the following products there?

• 2007/8 ER Mexico Edmundo Dantes El Conde 109 25pk
• 2011 ER Mexico Edmundo Dantes Conde 54 25pk

Robo - cant speak directly to La Paz, but in general the Edmundo Dantes are going to be very hard to find in Mexico unless you get very lucky. I have only seen a few boxes in Playa del Carmen and two were in private collections, the other was a partial box in a store. Good luck though!

The only place in Mexico I'd buy would be at an LCDH. Anyplace else, you can almost count on buying fakes. In addition, Mexican taxes are painfully high. If it were me I'd bring my own.

Edited to add, you can still find the more recent Edmundo Dante. It runs about $800.00 for a box. The previous Edmundo Dante is no longer available in the stores

There are certainly a lot of fakes down here. There are, however, a lot of reputable vendors that are not LCDH while at the same time, don't think for a minute that every thing you see in a LCDH is as it appears. This is, after all, Mexico. Just my $0.02.

There is a LcdH in Los Cabos about 200km south of La Paz.Good luck.
