KB24 Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 So a few years back I told a story on FOH about smoking what I believe was a 2004 Cohiba EL Sublime while at my wife's Uncle's house in Beverly Hills. We had gone there for dinner on a Sunday night and he had also invited over a gentleman that had recently purchased a couple cars from his dealership (Bentley GT's). When we arrived for dinner this guy was out back smoking so I walked out, introduced myself and politely asked if he had another cigar I could smoke. He handed me one and we smoked and talked for about an hour or so. During that conversation I told him how I loved cigars and he said he would send me a few boxes to the dealership for me when he returned home. Stupid me should have exchanged numbers or email addresses to follow up on that offer because the boxes never arrived. Well come to find out this past weekend, that gentleman is a Prince in Saudi Arabia. I guess he owns several properties in Southern California and was in town and felt like buying some expensive cars. Kind of cool that I can say I smoked a great cigar with royalty. -Patrick
investandprosper Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Pretty cool Patrick! If your uncle has his contact info, you could always send a few cigars his way as a thank you, and to re-open the lines of communication.
