headstand Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 What I started with: 2 prime rib steaks After 30 hrs of ageing Grilled 5 minutes a side Served with yellow/red pepper, mushroom, onion kabobs, and grilled asparagus. Washed down with a hugely extracted Syrah from Costiere de Nimes. Well received by the Mrs and junior.
riazp Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 steak and veggies, a classic summer time bbq. I usually go for top sirloin seeng how its less fatty (trying to watch what i eat!) with asparagus, baked sweet potatoe and whatever veggies i can grill. Looks great!

Thanks Riaz, Grilled yam medallions and NY strip was on the menu last Sunday.
headstand Posted May 28, 2012 Author Posted May 28, 2012 Nice!!! Thanks David. Next time it will be 48 hrs, and I hope to see the yellowing of the fat that you get on yours. Also 4 minutes a side rather than 5 would be even better. Cheers.
