Ophidion Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Revisiting these after a month of rest Prelight: Slightly firm draw, leather and sweet tobacco. Its a somewhat mottled looking wrapper but its giving off very nice aroma. Very heavy and packed tight. 1/3: Light leather and sugar flavors. The finish is very similar to warm caramel with a bit of spice at the end. The cigar is burning perfectly even while keeping a nice firm draw that forces me to smoke it slower so I don't pop a blood vessel in my head. 2/3: Leather, caramel and spice continue but the draw has opened up a bit at this point so the sweetness I experienced much more in the first few cigars I sampled from this cab has finally shown up. It seems that there may be a correlation with how much air is drawn through or how hot its burning when it comes to specific flavors. Either that or I am thinking about it too much and it just hit its stride later on. 3/3: The last third is very similar to the second third, however it has opened up a lot at this point (no voids in the cigar) so I had to smoke it much slower so it wouldn't get acrid on me. The smoke is a mild-medium through and through and worked really well with the espresso I made for the occasion. Overall: I am really enjoying the PLPC. I bought a cab on a whim and haven't regretted it since.

JCDizz Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Great review! I am loving the 2011 cab that I picked up last summer as well.
