Pre light aroma on this stick is of flowers and sweet tobacco. I am jazzed as this is my first LGC and everyone is always buzzing about how special they are. Why are no MDO's able to be found anywhere??? Damn you Habanos S.A.

Cigar has an impeccable draw with a good resistance. The wrapper is rustic but well constructed without any spot spots and the foot is packed nicely. I know I am going to have to behave myself on not smoking this too fast or to get it too hot.

First 1/3

Very mild beginning with a nectar sweetness and the heavy floral notes on the palate. Getting a nuttiness too. Very smooth smoke and lots of it for how thin the cigars is. Me likes

Second1/3

Getting a strong perfume taste and aroma. It's not displeasing but not loving it either. Spice has entered just ever so lightly on the back of throat. Copious amounts of smoke that's as smooth as butter. nuttiness is still here and more dominant than in the opening.

Last third

a lot of glue was used to put the band on so I almost demolished the stick trying to remove. Getting a lot of rich cocoa sweetness like nutella with the nuttiness and some coffee bean. Finishes out just as elegant as it started. Very complex smoke. I only wish I had the complex palate to go with it. Highly recommended if you can ever find this marca.

If anybody Wants to get rid of these from their stock. PM me. Thanks

Final score 92 ( much higher if that perfume taste was absent in the second third)

They LGC is a very interesting marca indeed. These tend to do a weird "leave of absence" after the first 10yr mark, and then come back around 15yrs give or take a couple. The 02s are very confusing for me. The 97 older, aka pre-00 blends, are excellent. Has a very fine graininess about it, kind of like eating Wheatabix with honey. Like you mixed a Trinidad with a RASS and a RyJ.

Thanks for the review.
