Best Canadian Whiskey

As a huge fan of Canadian blended whiskey, I was wondering if anyone especially my friends way north of me could recommend a really good Canadian Whiskey that can be purchased in the US thats not one of the mass marketed ones like Crown etc? Or if not available down here would be willing to send one my way if I obliviously paid for it, shipping and cigars for the effort..let me know...

One of my whisky buddies, Davin de Kergommeaux (http://www.canadianwhisky.org/), will release his book on Canadian whisky on may 8th. Not sure this will help you obtaining bottles in the US but it will make you want to go north for sure!!

Oh great. I have explored the wine, beer, single malt scotch, bourbon and cognac and now I guess I will face more ruination from delving into the world of Canadian whisky.

Ironically enough though, arguably the best Canadian whisky available today cannot be bought in Canada. Its called Whistle Pig 10 year old Straight Rye and its a special release to commemorate the revival of a Vermont distillery.
