Question for those who enjoy their cigars outdoors. Do you ever have bees buzzing around you while smoking?

In my yard, there is a particular black carpenter bee who enjoys dive bombing me trying to get my cigar. Nothing like a giant bee coming at you to disrupt a good book and a good cigar!

Never had this problem. In what part of the world are you located?

Last summer was a pain...constantly had wasps around...was a nest somewhere but could never find it, they disrupted my cigars many times!

I have never had a problem with bees but I have notice that when smoking a cigar it seems to attract butterflies, once done they go away. One time just to test I lit a second and they came back. Weird....

I don't smoke outside except for VERY rare occasions like a get-together of close family for cookout, etc. Never been bothered by ANY flying anything! In fact, while smoking indoors as usual if a fly gets into the house I blow my cigar smoke around him and he DROPS like a stunned boxer meeting Mike Tyson's "bad intention" fist! Then - he's mine - Mwuhahahahaha! :sneaky:

the only buzzing i get is my dog shih-tzu jumping on the chair next to me sniffing the smoke, think he wants his own maybe he was an cigar lover in his previous life

I tend to smoke on my balcony which is 14 floors up and I rarely see insects. BBQs, camping, get together when I'm outside on ground level is a whole other story lol. I hear the Aussies have a device to shoo away those pesky insect vermin :innocent:

That's cool Duane, my dog loves cigar smoke too. He's a west highland terrier. I just have to click the cutter and he sticks to me like glue
