csandbothe Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Anybody else try this one yet? I am typically a bourbon fan first, but like many whiskey's. Redbreast is putting out some fantastic pours nowadays. I recently bought a bottle of the cask strength and absolutely love it! Lots of sherry, cream, and fruit w/ a just the right amount of warmth. I haven't gotten around to trying the 15 year old yet, but it's next on the list.

In my neck of the woods, Booker's and Blanton's runs for about the same amount. Thanks.
csandbothe Posted March 28, 2012 Author Posted March 28, 2012 It's definitely a different taste then bourbon. The Redbreast was characterized mostly by cream and sherry in my book. While there was a bit of alcohol warmth, the aftertaste was mostly smooth.
